Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCT), the industry pace-setter for advanced
network and service assurance solutions, announced today that Michael
Szabados has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Mr. Szabados will continue to report to President and CEO, Anil
Singhal.
"Michael joined NetScout in 1997 as Vice President, Marketing and
Product Management," said Mr. Singhal. "His responsibilities expanded
in 2001 to encompass product development, manufacturing and customer
support, as Senior Vice President, Product Operations. In his ten
years of service at NetScout, Michael has played a key role in
establishing the Company's leadership position in the marketplace," he

Mr. Szabados is a veteran of the networking industry. He has held
engineering, product and marketing management positions at industry
leading companies, including Intel, Apple, UB Networks and
SynOptics/Bay Networks. He has worked with the largest enterprise,
government, and service provider network users. Mr. Szabados holds a
BSEE from University of California, Irvine and an MBA from Santa Clara
University.
