Insights Shared to Help Attendees Keep Pace with the Evolution of the Modern IP Network

(NASDAQ: NTCT), the industry leader in advanced network and application performance management, today announced that the company has been invited to participate on two panel discussions at this week's Interop New York 2008, where attendees will be exploring some of the crucial techniques that IT organizations must use to better manage and control network performance.

NetScout representatives also will be available in booth 753 throughout Interop NY, which is being held at the Javits Center. The event is the leading global business technology event and offers an unparalleled view into cutting edge innovations and solutions in the industry. Interop NY provides business and IT professionals the chance to exchange thoughts on provoking new technologies and address critical issues facing the industry today.

On Wednesday from 4-5 p.m., NetScout's Bruce Sweet, vice president of business development, will take part in a panel discussion titled Improving Network Performance and Efficiency with Automation, which will cover the strategies necessary to manage today's complex and dynamic network environments. Attendees of this session will learn about best practices enterprises can adopt to optimize visibility into the network to assure performance and improve productivity while reducing costs and mitigating risks.

On Friday from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m., NetScout's Brian Robertson, product marketing manager, will participate in a panel discussion titled what SOA and Web 2.0 Means to the Network. The panel will explore the implications that new approaches to application development and deployment are placing on the network. Attendees will learn about the management and performance issues that may result as enterprises adopt approaches such as SOA and Web 2.0, and what can be done to appropriately address these issues.
