NetScout’s nGenius Solution to Monitor the Real-Time Operations of InteropNet, Providing Layer 2-7 Real-Time Visibility into Networks, Applications and Services for the Fourth Consecutive Year
WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 30, 2013-- NetScout® Systems, Inc., today announced the nGenius® Service Assurance Solution will assure service delivery for InteropNet, the world’s largest temporary IT network at Interop Las Vegas, being held May 6 - 10, 2013, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The nGenius Solution provides unified views of converged service traffic including applications, voice, video and multimedia flowing across the InteropNet, a multi-tier, multi-location service delivery environment. NetScout will also be demonstrating the nGenius Solution in booth #1539.
InteropNet is built through collaboration among hand-selected innovative vendors as well as industry volunteers. It provides exhibitors and attendees with a reliable high-speed network throughout the entire conference center and is a premier showcase of how to design, deploy and manage a multi-vendor, converged network. Conference organizers charged with providing IT services at Interop chose the nGenius Service Assurance Solution to help the InteropNet team optimize the availability and performance of delivered services, protect the user experience, and simplify service performance management for their IT environment. Exhibitors and attendees rely on InteropNet for services ranging from email access to voice, video conferencing and Telepresence, in addition to Internet connectivity. The nGenius Solution will provide InteropNet administrators with granular visibility into their network environment by capturing and analyzing real-time Layer 3-7 IP service traffic flows. The InteropNet Network Operations Center (NOC) and NetScout’s booth (#1539) will have real-time monitors available to allow attendees to see the nGenius Service Assurance Solution in action. Displayed on the screens will be a real-time dashboard view of network-wide service status, including actionable alerts and warnings for any emerging performance problems. This year’s deployment will have approximately nine distributed nGenius InfiniStream® appliances, five distributed nGenius packet flow switches and multiple nGenius Virtual Agents running on VMware® servers deployed within the distributed data centers and on the show floor.
