NETSCOUT Supports Special Olympics Celebrity Winterfest for Sixth Consecutive Year

Employees from California and Massachusetts Join Special Olympics Athletes, Celebrities and Sponsors for a Three-Day Celebration of Courage, Passion and Triumphant Spirit

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2013-- NetScout® Systems, Inc., today announced that for the sixth consecutive year, the company will participate in the annual Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada Celebrity Winterfest, March 1-3, 2013 on the slopes of Lake Tahoe’s Diamond Peak. NetScout employees from San Jose, Calif., and Westford, Mass., eagerly return to Winterfest as defending champion, and will join celebrities, members of Corporate America and Special Olympics athletes for a fun-filled weekend. Proceeds from the events provide much-needed funding for more than 18,800 intellectually disabled athletes across Nevada and Northern California who rely on the generous donations from the community to receive free sports training and competition throughout the year.

Community members and Special Olympics supporters are invited to join in the festivities and events throughout the weekend, beginning on Friday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m. PST with the “Let the Games Begin” reception hosted by NetScout at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Incline Village, Nev. Celebrities currently confirmed for Celebrity Winterfest include: Mike Buie (Next 3 Days, Mystery, Alaska), Juliette Goodrich (KPIX, CBS 5-San Francisco), Brian Krause (Charmed), Rick Ravanello (Weeds, Lincoln Heights), John Sasaki, (KTVU, FOX 2-San Francisco), and John Vogel (The Mix Masters).
