Anil Singhal, Founder, President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board

Anil Singhal co-founded the Company in June 1984 and has served as NETSCOUT’s Chief Executive Officer and as a director on NETSCOUT’s Board since inception. In January 2007, Mr. Singhal was appointed Chairman of the Board, and has been serving as NETSCOUT’s President, CEO and Chairman since that time. In his current role, Mr. Singhal is focused on providing strategic leadership and vision, as well as setting operational priorities for NETSCOUT’s management team. Mr. Singhal’s vision of “traffic-based instrumentation” has guided NETSCOUT’s product direction and focus for the past three decades, helping to shape the evolution for the industry in the process. Under Mr. Singhal’s leadership, NETSCOUT has grown substantially during the past three decades, completing its initial public offering in 1999 and establishing its leadership in both the enterprise and service provider market. He is credited with numerous innovations in the field of network traffic monitoring and analysis that have helped NETSCOUT gain numerous industry accolades. During the past decade, Mr. Singhal has also been an instrumental part of a number of strategic acquisitions that have fortified and enhanced NETSCOUT’s technology, customer base and go-to-market capabilities. Mr. Singhal has earned notable recognition for his entrepreneurial success, including the TiE (The Indus Entrepreneur) Boston Lifetime Achievement in 2013, Enterprise Bank’s 2013 George L. Duncan Award of Excellence and Ernst & Young’s New England Entrepreneur of the Year in 1997. Mr. Singhal holds a BSEE from BITS, Pilani, India and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Jean Bua, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jean Bua has served as NETSCOUT’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since November 2011. She joined the company in September 2010 as Vice President, Finance, in conjunction with the company’s succession planning. In her current role, Ms. Bua is responsible for investor relations, treasury, financial planning and analysis, real estate development, accounting, and compliance. Ms. Bua has played a key role in executing on the financial aspects of our strategy during a period in which the company’s market capitalization grew by 300%. During her tenure, we have successfully completed and integrated five acquisitions. Before joining NETSCOUT, Ms. Bua served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of American Tower Corporation, a leading provider of infrastructure for the wireless telecommunications industry. While at American Tower, she was a critical contributor to multiple equity and debt financings, and numerous acquisitions that enabled the company to more than double in revenue through both acquisition and organic growth. Prior to American Tower, Ms. Bua spent nine years at Iron Mountain, Inc., concluding as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Worldwide Controller. During her tenure, Iron Mountain successfully consolidated the records management industry and grew from annual revenue of $100 million to over $2 billion through more than 100 domestic and international acquisitions. Previously, she held senior positions at Duracraft Corp. and Keithley Instruments. She was a management consultant at Ernst & Young and an auditor at KPMG. Ms. Bua earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude, and a Master of Business from the University of Rhode Island.

John Downing, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations

John W. Downing is NETSCOUT’s Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations and has overseen the Comapny’s sales operations since 2007. In this role, Mr. Downing is responsible for directing the Company’s sales leadership in both the service provider and enterprise markets. Under Mr. Downing’s direction, NETSCOUT has reported strong revenue growth and built vibrant, long-term relationships with leading telecommunications service providers, government agencies and many of the world’s largest corporations. He joined NETSCOUT in 2000 as Vice President, Sales Operations, instituting and refining key go-to-market programs and sales processes that have underpinned the Company’s four-fold revenue growth during the past fourteen years. Prior to NETSCOUT, from April 1998 until September 2000, Mr. Downing served as Vice President of Sales at Genrad Corporation, a $300 million manufacturer of electronic testing equipment and production solutions, and was Vice President of North American Sales from January 1996 until March 1998. Mr. Downing earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Tufts University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Suffolk University.

Michael Szabados, Chief Operating Officer

Michael Szabados has served as NETSCOUT’s Chief Operating Officer since April 2007, focusing on the implementation and execution of the Company’s vision and strategy. He has also served on NETSCOUT’s Board of Directors as Vice Chairman since February 2019. As COO, he has played a pivotal role in leading, integrating, and adapting NETSCOUT’S functional areas as the Company grew dramatically through organic expansion and multiple acquisitions. His career at NETSCOUT began in 1997 when he joined the Company as Vice President of Marketing, charged with increasing overall visibility and market awareness. His responsibilities expanded in 2001 to encompass product development, manufacturing, and customer support when he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Product Operations. A veteran of the enterprise networking industry, Mr. Szabados held senior leadership roles with companies including UB Networks, SynOptics/Bay Networks, and MIPS Corporation following engineering and product management roles at Intel Corporation and later at Apple. Mr. Szabados holds a BSEE from UC Irvine and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.

Daryle DeBalski, General Manager, New Markets Business Unit

Daryle DeBalski is General Manager of NETSCOUT’s New Markets business unit. In this role, Mr. DeBalski is responsible for overseeing the Arbor DDoS product delivery organization as well as the nGeniusPULSE and Fluke Enterprise Systems product areas. He joined NETSCOUT in July 2015 after NETSCOUT's acquisition of Danaher's Communications Business where he was general manager for the Fluke Networks Enterprise business unit.

Mr. DeBalski brings more than 20 years of software industry experience to the role. Before joining Fluke Networks, he served as a Senior R&D Manager at Agilent Technologies; Vice President of R&D at Optika, a business-to-business software company; and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mr. DeBalski holds a bachelor¹s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of New York at Buffalo.

Bruce Kelley, Jr., Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, Service Provider

Bruce Kelley, Jr. is NETSCOUT’s Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, Service Provider. Mr. Kelley has served in senior engineering roles at NETSCOUT since the acquisition of the Company’s acquisition of NextPoint Networks, Inc., a company Mr. Kelley co-founded, in July 2000. Following the acquisition, Mr. Kelley assumed the position of NETSCOUT’s Chief Technology Officer in 2001 and has since helped lead the Company’s development activity to address the needs of a growing number of leading service providers around the world. Prior to founding NextPoint in 1996, he held various engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1982 to 1996, including Consultant Software Engineer and Network Management Technical Director within Digital’s Network Management Engineering Group.

Tony King, Senior Vice President, International Sales

Tony King is NETSCOUT’s Senior Vice President, International Sales with responsibility for directing all sales into the Company’s expansive service provider and enterprise customer base across the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions. Mr. King has a proven track record in building open, collaborative and international sales cultures that have produced strong and sustained revenue growth.

Prior to this role, Mr. King had served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales for the Arbor security offerings since 2013. He came to NETSCOUT through the Danaher Communications Acquisition in 2015 as Vice President of Global Sales, focused on maintaining market leadership in DDoS detection/mitigation and strengthening the Global Channels to market.

Mr. King has over 30 years of Networking/Security/Telecom sales and sales leadership experience globally. Prior to joining NETSCOUT, Mr. King has held various roles within Arbor Networks. In his previous role as VP EMEA, Mr. King was directly responsible for driving revenue and building out the EMEA team over a successful 5-year period. Before joining Arbor in 2003, Mr. King served at Avici Systems as Sales Director. Prior to that, he worked for Ericsson’s Datacom division as Regional Sales Director.

Jeff Levinson, Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary

Jeff Levinson is Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary responsible for global legal strategy and legal operations at NetScout. Before joining the company in 2005, he served four years as corporate counsel at Nuance. Before that he was General Counsel at a start-up and a division counsel at a global publishing company. Mr. Levinson holds degrees from Harvard and Boston University School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. He is Chair of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Law Department Management Committee (Leadership/Strategy/Operations), a board member of the ACC Northeast Chapter, and a member of the program committee of the National Association of Corporate Directors, New England chapter.

Tom Raimondi, Jr., Chief Marketing Officer

Tom Raimondi, Jr. leads NETSCOUT’s global marketing efforts as Chief Marketing Officer. As CMO, Mr. Raimondi is focused on developing and implementing the Company’s overall marketing strategy in ways that can further build the NETSCOUT brand, maximize market awareness of the Company’s solutions and further strengthen customer relationships worldwide.

Prior to this role, Mr. Raimondi served as vice president, Enterprise Business Operations where he played an instrumental role in fortifying the Company’s market leadership by directing and coordinating key customer-centric sales, technical and product initiatives. Since joining NETSCOUT in January of 2012, Mr. Raimondi has built up and successfully delivered sales enablement and field marketing for the enterprise business.

Mr. Raimondi brings 30 years of executive leadership experience as the former Chairman, President and CEO of MTI Technology that grew to $225 Million in revenue. Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Raimondi served in several executive leadership positions with MTI. Prior to MTI, he held various sales leadership positions in the technology industry.

Mr. Raimondi holds a B.S. in Communications from the University of Maryland.

Ashwani Singhal, Senior Vice President, Research & Development

Ashwani Singhal is Senior Vice President of Research & Development. Mr. Singhal joined NETSCOUT in 1987 and served as a Senior Software Engineer and Project Manager from 1987 until February 1997, as Director of Engineering from February 1997 until October 1998, and as Vice President, Engineering from October 1998 through December 2000. Prior to joining us, he was a Senior Software Engineer at Symmetrix, an artificial intelligence systems company, from 1982 until 1987. Mr. Singhal is the brother of Anil Singhal, NETSCOUT’s President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Thor Wallace, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Thor joined NETSCOUT in January 2017 and serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the company. He has extensive experience in managing and leveraging Information Technology for both small and large technology and life science companies, including Medtronic, Biogen, Analogic and Kronos. He began his career as a management consultant at Ernst & Young. Thor brings a strong track record of driving transformational change in organizations, delivering operational efficiencies, engaging employees and improving customer service. He reports to Michael Szabados and is based in Westford, MA.

Thor has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, a master’s degree in Software Engineering from Brandeis University and a master’s in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University. He is a CMA and a CPA.
