New NetScout MasterCare Service Portal Provides Improved Access to Training, Support and Knowledge Resources for NetScout Customers

WESTFORD, Mass., Jun 14, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- NetScout Systems (Nasdaq: NTCT) today unveiled a new On-line Learning Center and MasterCare(TM) Service Portal with improved access to training, support and knowledge resources for NetScout customers. The On-line Learning Center complements NetScout's full offering of on-site and regional training courses with new, on-line, on-demand learning modules that familiarize users with nGenius(R) Solution product features and problem-solving capabilities. The On-line Learning Center is free of charge to customers who have MasterCare support, providing direct access to learning tools for all IT staff members, at any time. The On-line Learning Center also offers a cost benefit to enterprises that have a large number of users to train, but face limited time and travel funding.

The first modules offered are a combination of interactive, multimedia and webcast "how-to" exercises that range from setting up and configuring response-time analysis for custom applications to using nGenius(R) Power Alarms and generating nGenius(R) Reports. In addition, the On-line Learning Center contains product demonstrations on key features of the nGenius Solution. NetScout will add new modules to the center on a regular basis.
