NETSCOUT Unveils Application and Network Performance Blog

What: Application and network performance management vendor NetScout Systems today launched the Performance Zone CTO blog. For the past several weeks, NetScout's Chief Technology Officer Bruce Kelley Jr. has been posting his thoughts on the application and network performance management space in the blog at http://www.netscoutblog.com/.

Why: With more than twenty years of network management industry experience, Kelley has extensive expertise to draw from while discussing application and network performance trends, news and best practices. As NetScout's CTO, Kelley works directly with Fortune 1000 customers to help set the company's strategic technology direction, and will use these frequent interactions to provide insight to the blog's readers.

The key objectives of the Performance Zone are:

Who: Bruce Kelley joined NetScout in 2000, following its acquisition of NextPoint Networks, which he co-founded in 1996. As NextPoint's CTO he led the development of service level management and application performance products that won numerous industry awards, including Best of Show at Interop. Prior to NextPoint, Kelley held various engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1982 to 1996, including the prestigious Consultant Software Engineer position and the post of Technical Director within Digital's Network Management Engineering Group. Kelley is also the recipient of two patents in network and performance management.
