NetScout Aligns Executive Leadership Team for the Next Wave of Growth
WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 5, 2011--

Systems, Inc. today announced that Chief Financial Officer David
Sommers has been appointed to the role of Executive Vice Chairman
effective immediately. In addition, effective immediately, Jean Bua,
Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President, Finance, will assume the
responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer.

In his new position at NetScout, Sommers will have responsibility for
corporate development and investor relations. This will include
assisting the chairman with corporate strategy, mergers and
acquisitions, strategic partnerships and channel development. Sommers
will now report to Anil Singhal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Sommers joined NetScout in early 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and has
held senior financial leadership roles in the technology sector.

Effective immediately, Jean Bua will assume the role of Chief Financial
Officer and will now have expanded responsibility for the company’s
global financial strategies and functions. This will include accounting,
financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax and real estate
development. Bua will report to Michael Szabados, Chief Operating
Officer.
