NETSCOUT Participates in Special Olympics Celebrity Winterfest for Eighth Consecutive Year

Employees Support Athletes by Joining a Three-Day Celebration of Dedication and Courage

WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 12, 2015-- NetScout® Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTCT), a market leader in application and network performance management solutions, today announced that the company will participate in the 18th annual Blazent Celebrity Winterfest, which is taking place March 13-15 on the slopes of Diamond Peak Ski Resort at Lake Tahoe. This year marks the fifth consecutive year that NetScout is sponsoring the “Let the Games Begin” Welcome Reception, which will be held on Friday, March 13, from 7:00–11:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Incline Village, Nevada. Last year’s event generated over $216,000 to provide funding for the 6,500 special education student athletes who receive sports training in the classroom through the Special Olympics Northern California and Nevada’s Schools Partnership Program.

The main event of Celebrity Winterfest kicks off on Saturday, March 14, with the Corporate Ski Challenge. For this event, NetScout is sponsoring a team of eight skiers, one celebrity and one Special Olympics athlete to raise funds and increase awareness of the mission of Special Olympics Northern California.

Vogel (The Mix Masters).

The Special Olympics Northern California and Nevada’s Schools Partnership Program gives athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sharing gifts, skills and friendship with families, other athletes and the community. From the Oregon border to Monterey and Tulare counties, nearly 17,000 athletes along with nearly 18,000 volunteers have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports training and competitions that take place throughout the year.
