NETSCOUT Joins Red Hat Connect for Technology Partner Program,
Enabling Customers to Better Optimize Network Operations through Open
Source Virtualization
WESTFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2018--
NETSCOUT
SYSTEMS, INC., (NASDAQ: NTCT), a leading provider of
business assurance, a powerful combination of service assurance,
cybersecurity, and business intelligence solutions, today announced it
has joined Red Hat Connect for Technology Partner Program and has
collaborated with Red Hat to achieve Red Hat OpenStack Certification.
The certification demonstrates that NETSCOUT’s virtualized product, vSTREAM®,
has been tested and certified for use with Red Hat OpenStack Platform to
provide consistent performance and compatibility.
“We are delighted to join the Red Hat partner program with this
certification,” explained Vikram Saksena, office of the chief technology
officer, NETSCOUT. “Given NETSCOUT’s leadership in service assurance and
Red Hat’s leadership in OpenStack, we believe this collaboration has the
potential to be mutually beneficial to our customers. It also creates an
opportunity for the two companies to pursue further innovations, joint
marketing, and sales activities as opportunities present themselves.”
Whether it is deployed as an instance in a cloud environment or as
a virtual machine on a hypervisor, vSTREAM leverages the full power of
NETSCOUT’s patented Adaptive Service Intelligence™ (ASI) technology,
including session details and long-term packet recording. By aggregating
traffic from multiple sources, including vSCOUT™, vSTREAM leverages
Smart Data to present real-time views of sessions, conversations, and
end-to-end call trace data, as well as perform packet analysis and
provide network-wide KPIs.
The Red Hat Connect for Technology Partner Program is designed for
commercial organizations that offer plugins, hardware, software, or
services for customers to implement cloud infrastructure solutions
powered by Red
Hat products built on OpenStack technology. The program offers
partners an opportunity to gain the necessary expertise with Red Hat’s
OpenStack technology through access to Red Hat releases and developer
support, as well as key resources needed to test, certify, and publish
solutions that make use of Red Hat’s OpenStack offerings. Red Hat's
OpenStack ecosystem ranges from independent hardware vendors (IHVs) and
original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, to independent software
vendors (ISVs) and system integrators who have joined the program to
provide certified solutions and launch their own OpenStack practices to
support customer deployments.
“We’re pleased to have NETSCOUT join us in the Red Hat Connect for
Technology Partner Program,” said Mike Werner, senior director, Global
Technology Ecosystems, Red Hat. “To help customers get the most out of
Red Hat’s OpenStack offerings and our open hybrid cloud solutions, we
work closely with technology companies like NETSCOUT that provide
powerful and complementary solutions. We look forward to continued
collaboration with NETSCOUT as an important member of Red Hat’s
OpenStack ecosystem.”
